1-800 Contacts is a company based in Draper, Utah, United States, that sells contact lenses, including Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Ciba Vision, Bausch & Lomb and CooperVision brands.
The challenge
1-800 CONTACTS wanted to have a way for their customers to be able to more easily order their contact lenses and also be reminded of when they should replace their contact lenses.
Our Solution
We created a 3-tap system allowing people to order and reorder contacts on the go.
A clean and simple user interface was created, allowing users to quickly place new contact lens orders or repeat orders with ease.
With their own custom profile, a user could see their order history, be reminded when it was time to replace their contacts and reorder directly from the app.
A seamless integration with PayPal allowed for a quick, easy and secure checkout.
Once this pivotal milestone was achieved, the project was transferred to 1800 Contacts where they continued development and provided the current updated user interface based on the original solution.
Our Impact
Over a million users have downloaded the app on both Android and iOS, and are now enjoying the convenience of being only 3 taps away from their next contacts delivery.
